For more than 50 years, Hui Buh has captivated generations of fans and has become one of the best-known family brands in the German-speaking market. What began as a successful audio series has evolved into a versatile entertainment franchise spanning books, theatrical releases and TV formats, with strong brand awareness and multi-generational appeal.

In October 2027, „Hui Boo – and the Curse of the Genies“ will bring the beloved castle ghost to the big screen in his first major animated adventure, opening a new and spectacular chapter for the brand. The story takes audiences on a journey into a magical Arabian Nights-inspired world filled with fantastic locations and memorable characters. Amid flying carpets, mysterious palaces, magical bazaars, lovable creatures and plenty of humorous ghostly moments, Hui Boo unexpectedly becomes a hero. To save Amira and her people, he must break a powerful curse and face his greatest adventure yet.

With its October theatrical release, Hui Boo is also a natural fit for the Halloween season.

Combining humor, magic, adventure and heart, the brand offers a wide range of opportunities for family audiences while opening up significant potential for innovative licensing and consumer products concepts. The core target audience is families with children ages six and up, as well as fans of the Hui Buh audio series and movies.
