Hui Buh and the witch's castle

It has been a full 15 years since the successful live-action film adaptation of the beloved children’s hero HUI BUH, THE GOOFY GHOST thrilled more than two million moviegoers. It has since been a steady seller in the home entertainment sector and a guarantor of good ratings on TV and streaming platforms.

Rat Pack Film Production and Warner Bros. Entertainment present the cinema project HUI BUH AND THE WITCH’S CASTLE in 2022.

The stars from Part 1 are back: Michael Bully Herbig, Christoph Maria Herbst and Rick Kavanian play the leading roles once again! New additions include Charlotte Schwab, Waldemar Kobus, Mina Tander, Carmen-Maja Antoni, Soma Pysall, and the sensational Nelly Hoffmann.

HUI BUH (Michael Bully Herbig) is still the only officially approved ghost of Castle Burgeck, but KING JULIUS (Christoph Maria Herbst) is not the only one annoyed by his dilettantish attempts at spooking.

Hui Buh is tormented at being a laughingstock of a ghost, while Julius is also suffering at the loss of CONSTANZIA (Ellenie Salvo Gonzalez), who has left him. When suddenly the little witch OPHELIA appears at the castle gates and asks Hui Buh for help, chaos ensues: Claiming to be Hui Buh’s niece, Ophelia reveals she is in possession of the most powerful magic book in the world, which she is bound to protect.

Could this be Hui Buh’s chance to finally get spooky? Unfortunately, the EVIL WITCH ERLA is also after the book. Together with Ophelia, Hui Buh and Julius set off on their greatest adventure, which leads them straight into the infamous Witches’ Forest. At their side is once again Julius’ faithful companion CHARLES (Rick Kavanian), who becomes the last resort in their time of need.

Once again, Hui Buh and Julius have to join forces to save the world from darkness and, in doing so, save the most precious thing they have: Their friendship!
